SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
This Social Media Policy sets out rules concerning I-ne Group’s official social media accounts and the rules that members of I-ne’s Board of Directors and I-ne Group staff (“we”) follow when distributing, posting, or reposting (“sharing”) content on social media. Social media users (“you”) should read and understand this policy before interacting with our official accounts on social media.
Why we engage on social media
We engage on social media for the following purposes:
- To advertise I-ne Group and I-ne Group’s products and services
- To listen to user feedback about I-ne Group’s products and services with a view to incorporating the feedback into our product development activities
- To communicate openly and honestly with users in a way that enhances user satisfaction in our products and services, builds the value of our brands, creates confidence in I-ne Group, and fosters rapport with users.

This policy applies to the following official I-ne Group accounts. We may add, remove, or alter official accounts at any time without prior notice.

Recognizing the nature of social media
We take responsibility for our interactions on social media in the knowledge that social media has the following characteristics:
- Any content we share on social media will be accessible to an unrestricted number of users around the world.
- Once shared, the content might get shared by other users extensively, making it impossible to remove completely.
- The content could influence people’s behavior or influence their impressions of I-ne Group or I-ne Group’s brands.
How we conduct ourselves on social media
We conduct ourselves as follows when managing our official I-ne Group accounts and when sharing content on social media:
- We adhere to applicable laws and regulations, with I-ne Group policies and rules, and with social norms.
- We act with courtesy and integrity, accepting feedback from users without getting defensive.
- When selecting content to share, we favor content that will give users positive experiences.
- We take care to ensure the accuracy of the content we share. If we ever share inaccurate or misleading content, we immediately post an apology and clarification.
- We respect the intellectual property and privacy rights of third parties. We never share content that defames or discredits other users or parties.
- We handle with care sensitive commercial information that pertains to I-ne Group or a business partner and personal information that pertains to another user or party.
Precautions for social media users
- Never assume that an opinion expressed on our official social media accounts represents an official opinion or stance of I-ne Group.Our official views and positions are stated on our websites and news releases.
See the links below. Links to our websites - Any content we share on social media is up to date as of the time it was shared. It may no longer be up to date when you view it.
- The copyright and all other intellectual property rights pertaining to the content we share belongs to I-ne Group or to a third party licensing us the right to use the content. You are forbidden from using the content without our authorization, except in cases where you make a personal copy for private use as permitted under copyright law of Japan. You are forbidden from using the content for profit.
- When you share feedback (views, opinions, comments) on any of our official accounts, we have the right to share, repost, or quote the feedback as we see fit, without owing you any obligation. By sharing the feedback, you grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, and royalty-free license to use your copyright (including the rights specified in Articles 27 and 28 of the Copyright Law of Japan) and other intellectual property rights pertaining to the feedback, and you waive any moral rights you may have regarding our licensed use of the feedback.
- The way in which we interact with you on social media (whether we respond, the time it takes us to respond, or how we communicate) may differ depending on the social media platform.
Prohibitions
To ensure healthy engagement, you must refrain from the following acts (or any behavior that could result in such acts) when interacting with our accounts on social media. If you commit any of these acts, we may block or unfollow you, remove your comments or content (or ask you to remove them), or take other measures as necessary.
- Doxing another user or third party (exposing the person’s identity or divulging their personal information without their consent)
- Violating the rights or interests of I-ne Group, another user, or a third party
- Doctoring content obtained from an I-ne Group account
- Using an I-ne Group account as a channel or subject matter for commercial or profit-making activities without our permission
- Violating the copyright or any other intellectual property right of I-ne Group, another user, or a third party
- Defaming (e.g. disparaging, discrediting) or obstructing the business of I-ne Group, another user, or a third party
- Committing an illegal act
- Sharing content, or behaving in a way, that offends public morality, public decency, or public order
- Committing criminal acts or acts that could constitute a crime
- Interacting with an I-ne Group account when you are a member of an organized crime group or a front organization for such, or acting in a way that suggests you have links to organized crime
- Promoting a political or religious position, organization, or the like
- Inducing people to invest in or donate to something or to purchase products or services other than those of I-ne Group
- Linking to or advertising websites that we consider inappropriate
- Sharing content on an I-ne Group account when you have no right to share the content
- Disrupting the smooth operation of an I-ne Group account
- Engaging in any behavior contrary to this Social Media Policy
- Sharing content that is irrelevant to the purpose of the I-ne Group website
- Acting in a way that we may otherwise deem inappropriate

- Under this policy, we endeavor to ensure the accuracy of all content we share. However, we offer no guarantees that the content is truthful, accurate, or representative of our official views or stances. We may edit, move, or remove content we have shared as we see fit without prior notice.
- We accept no responsibility whatsoever for any damage you may sustain by engaging with an I-ne Group account or being prevented for some reason from engaging with such.
- We accept no responsibility whatsoever for any content you share regarding I-ne Group. You must resolve any conflict you experience with another user or a third party at your own responsibility and cost, without obstructing or harming I-ne Group in any way.
Non-obligation to respond, official inquiry process
