The mission of I-ne Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “we” or “our”) is as follows: “We Are Social Beauty Innovators for Chain of Happiness.” We operate our business aiming to spread and maximize a chain of happiness beginning with our products to our customers, business partners, local communities and the global environment. We believe we have a social responsibility when engaging in business activities to understand the purpose of laws on the protection of personal information and to then appropriately use and manage personal information. Accordingly, we are clarifying our philosophy on personal information protection and establishing this Privacy Policy. In addition, we declare we will implement and maintain this policy.

  1. We will comply with laws and ordinances on the handling of personal information, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, guidelines established by the government, and other norms, in relation to our handling of the personal information we handle in all of our businesses and the personal information of our employees. Furthermore, we will protect personal information by formulating a personal information protection management system in compliance with the Japanese Industrial Standards titled “Personal information protection management systems -- Requirements” (JIS Q15001).
  2. When acquiring and using personal information, we will identify and announce its purposes of use. We will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use we have specified (use outside the purposes of use). In addition, we will take appropriate management measures to prevent use outside the purposes of use.
  3. We will not provide the personal information we have acquired to third parties except when we have obtained the consent of the individual or when we are required to do so by laws and ordinances.
  4. If we receive a grievance or inquiry on our handling of personal information, we will promptly investigate all the facts of that matter and then respond in good faith within a reasonable period of time.
  5. We will work to prevent and correct any leak, loss or damage of personal information by taking systematic, human, physical and technical safety measures to appropriately manage the personal information we have acquired.
  6. We will continuously review our personal information protection management system based on changes in social conditions and the environment and then improve our efforts to protect personal information.
