PRIVACY POLICY
Our mission statement reads, “We are Social Beauty Innovators for Chain of Happiness.” Our Mission is to create a chain of happiness that extends to our Bosses (our customers), business partners, local communities, and the planet through our products and services.
We believe we have a social responsibility to understand the purpose of laws on the protection of personal information and to appropriately use and manage personal information when engaging in business activities. Accordingly, we have clarified our philosophy on personal information protection and established this Privacy Policy. In addition, we declare our commitment to its implementation and ongoing maintenance of this policy.
- In handling personal information pertaining to staff or personal information entrusted to us during our business operations, we comply with the relevant laws and regulatory requirements (including Japan's Act on the Use of the Protection of Personal Information and Japan’s Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures), government directives, and standards or norms. Our system for safeguarding such personal information is certified to JIS Q15001 (personal information protection management systems-requirements).
- We publicly specify the purpose for which we obtain and use personal information. We take steps to ensure that we never use personal information beyond the specified purpose.
- We will only share personal information with a third party if the person to whom the information pertains permits us to do so or if we are legally obliged to do so.
- If we receive a grievance or inquiry on our handling of personal information, we will promptly investigate all the facts of that matter and then respond in good faith within a reasonable period of time.
- To uphold our duty of care over the personal information we obtain, we will take all measures necessary (including organizational, manual, physical, and technological measures) to protect the personal information from being leaked, lost, or damaged and to remedy any deficiencies in our duty of care.
- We will continuously review our personal information protection management system based on changes in social conditions and the environment and then improve our efforts to protect personal information.
